Or if you want to skip the watching there are videos on the lore or gundam, but be careful of spoilers in newer videos: here's a starter intro video to get started: If you do want to watch the chronological order:mobile suit gundam trilogy, zeta gundam trilogy(prolly don't need to watch), zz(prolly don't need to see), char's counterattack movie, unicorn, and gundam movie nt. I lot of people start out with unicorn, get a bit lost in the lore and then explore the older titles. However, watching unicorn is must with it's modern great story-telling and animation that make it enjoyable. Sure watching prior gundam series might help you understand the gist of some parts, but it isn't necessary. I don't really see the point of watching prior series(except the msg trilogy) because the storytelling is very different and a bit old school. In my opinion just watching gundam unicorn will pretty much help you understand it because it's the sequel.
